The dormitory and kitchen were clean and tidy, and the breakfast provided was satisfactory. The key advantage of this hostel is its strategic location, with easy access to Aveiro city center and attractions such as the Fish Market and shopping mall.
There were a couple of negative aspects during my stay. the internet connection on the top floor was quite weak, making it difficult to have a reliable connection.

This hostel has everything you need and more. No bunk beds, private bathroom, and a radiator to keep you warm in winter. the homemade breakfast is fantastic, with delicious cakes and jams. the staff is friendly and provides great recommendations. You can also rent bikes to explore the surrounding area. It's the perfect stop between Lisbon and Porto.
Felt very happy, no complaints.

The friendly staff recommended buses to the beach and an authentic local bar, which was absolute gold! the bar had a great modern decoration and the lounge and dining area were cozy. the 8 mixed dorm was nice and cozy, right under the roof. I also appreciated their eco-friendly facilities, which the hostel put into practice. the breakfast was delicious, with homemade cakes and jams. The hostel is in the very center of the city, with the tourist information office just a few minutes away. Cons: Not obvious to find. 😕.

We had a fantastic Christmas stay at this charming hostel. the rooms were impeccably clean and cozy, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. We especially loved the warm and welcoming shared spaces, which made us feel right at home. the included breakfast was a delightful surprise, with a variety of fresh fruit that we thoroughly enjoyed. the staff were extremely helpful, providing us with a map that guided us to all the key locations nearby. Plus, the location was ideal, as it was conveniently situated close to all the main attractions.
the soundproofing in our room was not perfect, and we could occasionally hear noises from other rooms or the corridor during the night. we noticed some areas in the shared bathroom that could have been cleaner.

The communal spaces were beautifully decorated and had a homely feel to them. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making my business trip a lot smoother. The breakfast had a good variety of items, including some sweet and savory treats. Free parking nearby and a central location made it easy to find and get around.
The Wi-Fi didn't work in my room, and even in the main areas of the hostel, it kept losing the signal. The noise from the nearby bar was quite disruptive, and my room had poor sound-proofing from the central stairway.

This hostel is perfectly located, just a short walk from the canals and right in the heart of the city. It's also super easy to find, as it's straight down the main avenue from the bus station. the rooms are clean and cozy, and the bathrooms are well-maintained. Breakfast is an absolute highlight - the best I've had in a hostel with a wide array of choices. the staff are friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. this hostel is a great choice for solo travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.
The only downside is the Wi-Fi, which can be a bit spotty.

the common space is incredibly cozy, perfect for relaxing or chatting with friends and other travelers. the breakfast with tasty local food exceeded my expectations. Plus, the hostel is eco, friendly and has a well, equipped kitchen and lockers in the room. the excellent location makes it easy to explore the city.
The only drawback is that the hostel only had one bathroom on the floor for two rooms with eight people each, which wasn't enough and could have been cleaner. there was a snoring person in the room which kept everyone up at night.
